Like every good member of Gen Z, I love avocados. Avocado on toast, avocado with tuna, avocado in salads. But my number one avocado dish is definitely guacamole.
Now, I do try to be mindful about what I eat and I – mostly – am calorie-conscious. But I just cannot say no to good guacamole. So, to stretch my guacamole and to reduce the calories, I add a secret ingredient: yoghurt!
Adding yoghurt will not only stretch the recipe, but it also balances out the oily texture of the avocado perfectly – and, together with lemon, adds a hint of freshness.
So here is my favourite guacamole recipe. Perfect for the last late summer barbeques or as a dip for veggies or crisps. Enjoy!
